I don’t know why I didn’t do it before. All my other books are available in paperback as well as ebook and yet Alfie’s Diary had, until now, only been available electronically. That was until I received a lovely letter requesting a paperback copy singed by both me and Alfie. How could I refuse? I’m proud to announce that Alfie’s Diary is now available in paperback, and Emma and Buddy’s copy will be on its way to them in just a few days’ time. You can find it on Amazon HERE.
For those of you who aren’t familiar with Alfie’s Diary it is a daily Internet Blog (www.alfiedog.me.uk) that has now run of over nine years and has only missed one day in all that time. It is, of course, written by Alfie and reflects his views on life, growing up as a dog and the world and people around him. His book is an edited version of the first year of the blog. If I ever have time on my hands, I may start to edit a second year and turn it into a series, but for now I’m settling for the one year.
I he started the blog as a way of making sure I he wrote every day and only intended it for it to run for a year or two. Every time he thought of giving up he’d get email from readers saying how much they enjoyed it and he’d carry on a little longer. He’s retired from writing at a weekend now and Aristotle has taken over those slots. He didn’t ask Shadow as quite honestly she’s a bit of a bimbo and not really up to the job. With the lighter workload, Alfie, who is now around 66 in dog years, think he will be able to carry on for a while yet!
